Hi, I'm new here and I'm having some issues with my scans that were supposed to be scheduled by the hospital. My oncologist said during our last appointment that I'd be having scans every six months. The 6 month deadline has passed and I never received any appointments in the post. Is this something I need to chase - do most people have to organise them themselves? If so, who would I chase for it? I've got a nurse but I've not seen her since finishing treatment either. Would it be best to contact my GP and see if they can help? Maybe he got it wrong and it shouldn't have been six months. How often do other people get their scans? Thanks for reading.
