You’re reaching the end of treatment and cancer turned your world upside down. Now you’re supposed to get back to a life that isn’t the same as it used to be. The truth is, life after cancer is hard. The world expects you to bounce back, but everything feels different—your body, your mind, your life.

Treatment ends, but the exhaustion, fear, and uncertainty don’t, and the sense that your old “normal” is gone forever can be overwhelming. We get it because we’ve been there too. Mission Remission is a community who share stories, tips, and support to help each other through the hard days (and nights) and celebrate the good ones.

We’re a small charity run by people who’ve been through it. Over 15,000 survivors have already joined our forums, book clubs, support groups, and campaigns. It’s not fancy—just a space to connect, share, and start piecing things back together with people who truly get it.

“Mission Remission is like the sun coming through the clouds.”

Mission Possible – Fitness & Walking Programme

Mission Possible is our fitness programme & monthly walking challenge that allows you choose how far you want to go.

There’s support from a personal trainer and a dedicated Facebook group with weekly goal setting and ‘Walk Fit’ workouts.

Are you keen to become a health campaigner, but unsure where to start?

Are you struggling to find the right people to listen to your calls for change?

Are you facing burnout, wondering how you can keep on going alone?

We set up The Changemakers, a lovely eclectic bunch of cancer survivors who meet online and in-person; people who are looking to make change – whether that’s within the NHS, in local communities, or for our families.

Recovery Cafe

Recovery Cafe is a monthly online meeting place for cancer survivors, confidential and totally informal, we chat about what is going on in our lives – the side effects of treatment, our worries and our wins.

Whether you have inspiring tips to share with others, or you need the supportive ear of people who understand, come along, everyone’s welcome!
