Upcoming online meetings:
30th June – 3pm to 4pm: The Importance of Emotional Wellbeing – Men’s Mental Health. This session, led by cancer survivor and counsellor Steve Pointon, explores the emotional and practical challenges men face after cancer. It’s open to everyone, including men who want to reflect on their own experiences and women who want to explore how they as partners, friends, family members, and peers, can better support them.
28th July – 3pm to 4pm: Better Sleep After Cancer – why cancer affects your sleep and what you can do about it. Sleep problems are one of the most common and least talked about after-effects of cancer treatment. In this session Anna Blair, cancer survivor and health coach, breaks down why this happens and offers simple, practical strategies to help you sleep better.
18th August – 3pm to 4pm: Peer Support Come and join Hannah for some peer support – we’ll be joined by Cancer Coach Kirstie Blanchette, and we’ll be discussing the importance of self compassion. Whether you’d like to share your experiences, positive hints and tips, offload to people who understand, or simply listen – you’ve found the right place!
1st September – 3pm to 4pm: Coping With Hormonal Side Effects After Cancer Treatment. Join NHS GP and cancer coach Dr Suze Mellor, and explore the hormonal side effects of cancer treatment experienced by both women and men, and practical ways to understand, manage, and cope with the changes they bring.
